We generally look for two main strengths from our cubes, ash content and durability throughout the session. Our previous smoke sessions with cube coals were great, but recently we were introduced to the Cocourth collection which contains this 72 count cube box.
We've enjoy the fact that these coals have a very low ash content, with a strong core when it comes time to ash. You could lay out every piece in this box out on a table and expect to find nothing but clean cut edges with a smooth texture, and if you're up for it give them a lick because there's no taste.
The Cocourth team wanted to provide a charcoal from organic materials without the use of any chemicals, and give their customers an important component to their smoke session in the purest form. Presentation of their charcoal was another important area of focus, so they use a Golden Cut technique that produces perfect edges for the customer to enjoy.
We like a bowl that requires minimal maintenance and using three of these atop foil creates our perfect setup.

How To Use CocoUrth Cube Organic Hookah Charcoal
Lighting a cube shape piece of charcoal with a single flame lighter will take up the majority of your day, instead they should be place on a single coil hookah charcoal burner. Cube coals will take a little bit longer to light than your average charcoal but give them 8-12 minutes depending on your burner, and you're ready for a smoke session.
Using 3 pieces of the cube coals will provide you with 24 sessions, or you can use 2 with a wind cover for 36 sessions. Please remember to make sure that your coals are fully lit before placing them onto your bowl.
