Are you looking for a heavy duty clay bowl to hold your Kaloud Lotus? Well you're in luck because the Alpaca Bowl Company has just provided us with their lipped apache bowl and it goes by the name Lipache! (see what they did there).
The Lipache interior design comes from a previous bowl style called the Apache (supercheif for the experts), the airflow chamber is raised at the center to prevent leakage from juicy shisha. This bowl will hold around 15-25 grams of shisha and should be able to last multiple rounds of hookah charcoal depending on your choice of tobacco and packing method.
All Alpaca bowls are handmade here in the US and feature a premium lead free glaze with a quality assurance stamp. Lipache bowls are crafted with the use of durable clay materials to create thick walls and provide a solid foundation atop of your bowl stem.
The clay composition handles heavy amounts of heat very well and provides an even cook of your bowl without overheating causing a poor taste. This bowl can be prepared a couple different ways but here at the office we tend to dense pack the shisha around the center air channel and toss the lotus on for a cloudy session.
Occasionally when we maked mixed flavor bowls we'll sprinkle some shisha above the center, but always remember to leave the air channels unclogged for a less restrictive inhale.
