What happens when a phunnel and Egyptian bowl have baby? You receive a beautiful accessory that identifies as an Apache. The Alpaca Bowl Company restored a classic bowl design, using a common phunnel bowl style with some aspects of the traditional Egyptian bowls. These bowls are handcrafted here in the US, with American clay and long lasting lead free glazes.
This unique phunnel bowl contains a raised center plate that features multiple air channels. The higher central spire allows your shisha juices to stay inside your bowl, because no one likes leaks in the stem or base. As you pull heat in across your tobacco an even flow of air passes through the shisha for an evenly cooked bowl.
You can achieve a great session simply by filling the phunnel interior with a sprinkle or dense pack depending on your choice of tobacco. Keep your air channels open to prevent any blockage and achieve those big 'ol clouds. Our standard setup with the Apache features 3 cube sized Cocobrico coals on top of drum tight foil.
